Leatherhead - Roman Candle - is a classic alternative band with good sounding effects on the vocals.

The opening track, Roman Candle, has a good sounding riff to it. The vocals in the main sound good; they have an effect on them which gives you almost a rush as they are said. The bass guitar is mainly leading while the vocals are on. It's a fairly basic song, but when it drops into a downtime about halfway through, the effects really come out. I think this track might possibly be compiled a little bit better; however, it's better than anything I can write! The vocal effects in the solo break are especially good.

The second track, Everything I Am Not, starts off with a basic guitar rhythm. Once again in this track the vocals seem to have a good effect applied to them. This track seems to be a bit darker, though possibly a little too basic for my liking. Nonetheless, this is quality music. The guitar solo in this track includes a good riff. Seems like a holy track that's a little bit dark.

The third track is Losing Faith. The beginning is way darker than the previous two tracks, and the lead electric guitar has a very vibrant riff which I particularly like. During the drop down where the vocals start the song gets very mellow, and in fact this track does have quite a few mellow parts to it. The track does get heavier and does sound good. The tune gives me a good dream: "I see things I don't think I should see".

The fourth track, Halfbreed, starts off with a little bit of a riff then settles down and drops into the vocals. Sounds good. It is much like the second track in which the electric guitar doesn't play as much in down times, and is dominated by the bass guitar. This track has nice and crisp vocals, and reminds me of many alternative bands.

The fifth and final track is called Senseless. It's a slow track with only piano and vocalist. The vocalist, in particular, sounds very inspiring, talking about what makes sense to him. The piano is fairly basic with only a few notes being played, and though the song isn't very complex, it sounds ok. Near the end the band kicks in and the track pieces itself together. Lots of effects on the guitars, making for a wicked track.

My favorite track out of the five would have to be Losing Faith because of the heaviness. In all I think this band is alright: I do like heavier stuff, but ... not bad!
