Loosely based in Sheffield, Dangerlust (the 'Lust) have a simple mission statement: to spend all day
and all night working to worm their infectious melody-filled rock anthems into the nation's conscience.
Having formed in 2003, the band have spent their time writing, recording DIY bedroom demos, and playing
a handful of chaotically incendiary gigs around the country. On stage, the 'Lust's personality combines
with their sparkling riffs and choruses to melt the heart of the hardest gig-going cynic. The band have
polarised the underground music press, earning comparisons ranging from Elastica and Blondie to the
Pixies and the Wildhearts. In June '04 Dangerlust recorded their first demo proper with ex-Seafruit man
Alan Smythe and are rather pleased with the pop sheen he has afforded their rough edged rock songs.
