About the Band Ed Cosens Jon McClure Judan Suki formed only in March of 2003. They burst onto the music scene in typically exuberant fashion. After headlining the acclaimed Sheffield Boardwalk, they were soon invited to play a showcase at the N.M.B, Sheffield Hallam Union. After being approached to join nationwide promoter Northern Exposure they began to gig across the country. Defining their sound all the while, Suki have now formed into a tight, funk fuelled outfit capable of holding their own with any of the so called "best" bands around. As The Buzz magazine wrote in September 2003, "... these guys could well be the best band to come from our region in the last decade...". A very interesting 2004 in prospect!
